Raw Chocolate Workshops
Beginners & Intermediate Class Overview
from Brighton & Hove Nutritionist and Raw Chocolate-maker, Sarah Barber
So what can you expect from a Pure People Raw Chocolate Workshop? Well you'll join me, Sarah Barber for a fun and informative morning learning to make the most delicious raw chocolate that’s also bursting with energy-dense nutrition. Plus, take home around £25 worth of raw chocolate we make on the day plus an information recipe pack.
I have 10 year’s raw food and raw chocolate experience meaning you will go away with everything you need to start making the most amazing chocolate plus, because I’m a Nutritionist, you’ll also get to learn about the nutritional side of the ingredients.
I currently run two chocolate workshops; Beginners & Intermediate as well as classes in Raw Sweet Treats and "Eat More Raw".
The beginners class teaches all the basics to making chocolate at home and I also share my raw fudge (think caramac….) chocolate recipe. You get to have a go making three different chocolate recipes, using a variety of natural sweeteners as well as deciding what yummy flavours and textures we add including (better-than-organic) do-TERRA essential oils. Each class also includes two bonus (seasonal) truffle recipes for you to take home. We can also talk a fair bit about nutrition in this workshop. Click here for more info. on content of beginners’ workshop.
During the intermediate class I share recipes for raw vegan ‘milk’ and ‘white’ chocolate recipes but the best bit is that we also get to create and play with coloured chocolate. You will sample and take-away some wonderful recipes for achieving lovely textures and unusual flavours to add to your chocolate such as candied nuts and flavoured buckwheat. Click here for more info. on content of intermediate workshop.
Both classes include lots of tasters and also provide you with an opportunity to connect with like-minded people. You take home an information pack including recipes from the class and a handy list of resources along with a 20% off voucher for a nutrition and/or biofeedback consultation with me. And finally at the end of each workshop you get invited to a Pure People facebook group where you can share stories, pictures or ask chocolate-making questions.
Workshops take place in Woodingdean or Phoenix Centre, Brighton. The classes are fun, friendly, informal and kept small.
