An Introduction to Raw & Living Foods - Workshop - Woodingdean, Brighton

Join me, Sarah Barber, for a fun, informative and delicious half day immersing yourself in raw foods.

The workshop is structured in such a way that you get to eat your way through breakfast, a main meal (lunch), desserts and more! Not only do you get to feast on mouth-watering raw food, each dish is demonstrated to you plus you'll learn all about the fundamentals of 'eating more raw' as well as what's involved in setting up your raw kitchen at home. 

This workshop is 100% vegan and all ingredients used are raw and organic whereever possible.  All recipes are FREE FROM dairy, wheat, soy, refined sugar and yeast.  Recipes do include nuts and seeds but it maybe possible to adapt them if you have a specific requirement (if this is the case please contact me ahead of the workshop).

I have 10 year’s raw food experience and will impart everything I have learned along the way plus, because I’m a Nutritionist, we will cover nutritional aspects of the food too.

1045-1145 DEMO & TALK OVER BREAKFAST
Buckwheat granola with seasonal fruit & almond milk

•What are Raw/Living foods & why eat them?
•Setting up your raw food kitchen 
•Tools & equipment and their alternatives (everything from sprouters & spiralizers to juicers & dehydrators and workarounds offered if you don't have them)
•Raw food preparation techniques such as soaking & sprouting
•Practical tips on how to eat ‘more raw’

1145-1245 DEMO & EAT LUNCH - WRAPS & ROLLS
Tamari 'roasted' seeds 
Olive, pumpkin seed & sun-dried tomato pate
Garden wraps with avocado, carrot, pepper, tamari onion rings and alfalfa sprouts

Workshops take place in Woodingdean (near Brighton). The classes are friendly, informal and kept small.
