Cherry Garcia Smoothie

Cherries and chocolate are such a winning combination.  Someone recently told me that they usually find recipes need tweaking a bit but that this smoothie was just perfect, so why not give it a try and see if you agree?!


1/2 cup frozen cherries

1 banana (frozen, otherwise add ice)

2 tablespoons raw cacao powder (or cocoa/carob powder)

1-2 tablespoons hemp seeds (or other nuts/seeds)

1 tablespoon raw honey, agave or other sweetener

1/2 - 1 teaspoon green powder (eg spirulina, chlorella etc)

1.5 cups water


Blend all ingredients together, pour into glass and enjoy!
